Harry Emerson Fosdick

A Baptist minister ordained in 1903, Fosdick pastored in Montclair, New Jersey, and later at Park Avenue Baptist Church in Manhattan while teaching practical theology at Union Theological Seminary for three decades. Time magazine put him on its cover in 1925. His autobiography, The Living of These Days, appeared in 1956.
