Henry H. Tweedy

Ordained a Congregational minister in 1898, Tweedy served churches in Utica, New York, and Bridgeport, Connecticut, before joining Yale Divinity School as professor of homiletics in 1909. He taught there for nearly thirty years with a particular interest in worship music and church architecture, and published Christian Worship and Praise in 1939.
