Ordained in the Church of England in 1908, Winslow spent twenty years as a missionary in India before coming home to parish work and chaplaincies, among them Lee Abbey in Lynton. He wrote on the Christian approach to Hindus, and his hymns appeared in the 1950 edition of Hymns Ancient and Modern.
