Jennie E. Hussey

Rheumatism left her an invalid for much of her life in rural New Hampshire. She was publishing poems by age thirteen and, as a teenager, sold magazine stories and crochet patterns. Her first hymns appeared in 1898. A Quaker, she wrote "King of my life, I crown Thee now."
