Sarah L. Findlater

Born in Edinburgh, she married a Free Church of Scotland minister at Lochearnhead in Perthshire. With her sister Jane Borthwick she translated German hymns, published in four volumes as Hymns from the Land of Luther between 1854 and 1862. She also wrote fiction and composed anthems.
