1855–1932

Son of an Irish barrister from Dungannon, he studied at Repton and at Cambridge and was ordained in 1879 as a curate in Doncaster. He was later vicar of North Holmwood in Surrey and, from 1900, of St. Augustin's in Bournemouth. He wrote a handful of hymns, among them 'Son of God, eternal Savior.'
