Author
William Kethe
A Scot who fled England under Queen Mary, Kethe lived among the Protestant exiles in Geneva and probably had a hand in the Geneva Bible. His twenty-five psalm versions for the 1561 Anglo-Genevan Psalter passed into the Scottish Psalter, though only his Psalm 100, 'All people that on earth do dwell', is still sung. From 1561 he was rector of Childe Okeford in Dorset.
