William Ralph Featherston

A Wesleyan Methodist in Montreal, Featherston was converted at sixteen while in Toronto and is said to have written 'My Jesus, I love Thee' about that time. His aunt saw the poem into print, and years later Adoniram J. Gordon found it in a London hymnal and gave it the tune still sung today. He died at 26.
